This is definetly a place that needs to be visited more often. Great short walking or long trails available. You can even drive through if you have limited time. The grounds are beautiful, the facts are well displayed, and the beaches make for an excellent calm oasis to visit. I had no idea what we were going to see but I was very surprised. Archaeology sites, old cabins, and ruins to be able to visit. Go and being friends! Well worth it.

The notice in the bathroom informing that the water from the faucet had failed the test for total coliform was from May. This is August. Tough to overcome that.

It was amazing! I was here for the haunted barn and it was really a fun experience.

Great park with lots of history. We came for a wedding, which it was a great venue for. The tables and chairs were basic, but we're appropriate for the style of wedding. The pavilion was huge and could easily fit a wedding of 100.

Very pretty beach/point! Tide can get high at times though so watch out! Nice trails, kept well and a good length for families with children. I recently went here for the public archeology dig. The dig is very interesting. I wouldn't attend this with smaller children because they might loose interest throughout the afternoon. Over all you will have a great time at a great place!
